1: Why is Birthday Connections so effective?

A: Everyone loves to get birthday greetings and gifts. But few businesses bother to send them. So when your greeting shows up with a special Gift Certificate, it really stands out. You make a positive impression, create an instant connection, and generate new business.

2: Do you have a list of birthdays?

A: Yes. We have a giant list of names, addresses, and birthdays for the areas surrounding your business. You don't have to gather any of this information. We've already done it all for you.

3: How many people in my area are having birthdays each month?

A: That's easy to find out. Just use the ZIP Code tool in the right sidebar on this page. Or you may call and speak to an account representative who can give you a count over the phone.

4: What ages can I send my promotions to?

A: You can choose any age or age range from 18+. Due to privacy rights, we cannot promote to minors.

5: Which birthday greeting works best: Card or Letter?

A: Both formats have been designed to bring maximum response. The letter format is a few cents cheaper, however, many businesses like to send the card because it's a more traditional approach for birthdays. In the long run, the cost difference won't matter much when you're adding up your profits from new customers.

6: What kind of response can I expect?

A: Based on years of testing, we generally aim for 10% to 15% response. When you consider that most direct mail experts say 1% or 2% is good, those numbers are pretty impressive. But keep in mind that many business owners have reported 30%, 50%, or even 80% response!

7: How much does it cost?

A: Our pricing is simple, straightforward, and actually pretty cheap. Only $1.75 for each Birthday Letter and Gift Certificate mailed. Add 15¢ each for printing on both sides. Add 22¢ each for a personalized Birthday Card. Download our brochure and price list.

8: What's included in the price?

A: One low, flat price per mailer includes everything: list, data processing, optional selects, CASS certification, copywriting, design, color printing, personalization, addressing, folding, assembly, postage, mailing, everything.

9: Are there any contracts? Minimums? Other fees?

A: No. There are no contracts, no minimums, no set-up fees, no strings attached. It's just one, affordable, flat price per piece mailed. You just tell us how many new customers you want each month, and we'll recommend how many pieces we should mail to reach that goal. But quantities are up to you.
